How to respond to meeting requests.

Accepting meeting requests
Open the meeting request.
Click the
Accept
button.
Note:
If you have a conflict or an adjacent meeting, you'll see a banner in the heading of the meeting request. Click the
banner
to view the details of the conflicting or adjacent meeting.

end this response now

Note:
If you choose don't send the response, the originator of the meeting won't have any indication that you are planning on attending the meeting.
Marking meeting requests as tentative
Open the meeting request.
Click the
Tenative
button.
Note:
The meeting is also added to your calendar. But other people looking at your schedule can see you have only a tentative engagement at that time.
If you have a conflict or an adjacent meeting, you'll see a banner in the heading of the meeting request. Click the

to view the details of the conflicting or adjacent meeting.

Send this response now

Declining meeting requests
Open the meeting request.
Click the
Decline
.

If you choose don't send the response, the originator of the meeting won't have any indication that you aren't planning on attending the meeting.
Replying to a meeting invitation
Open the meeting invitation.
Do one of the following:
To send a message only to the meeting organizer, click
REPLY
.
To send a message to everyone who was invited, click
REPLY ALL
.
In the message body, type your reply and then click
SEND
.
Forwarding a meeting invitation
Open the meeting request and then click
Forward.
On the
To
line, type the email address of the recipient.
Click
Send
.
