Managing junk email in Outlook on the web

 Objective

Potential junk email is moved to the junk email folder automatically, and any potentially dangerous content (links, executable code, etc.) within the message is disabled.

Potential junk email is moved to the junk email folder automatically, and any potentially dangerous content (links, executable code, etc.) within the message is disabled.

Marking a message as not junk

  1. Click the message you want to mark as not junk, and then click the Not junk button on the toolbar.


     
  2. In the Report as Junk box, click Report or Don't Report depending on your desire to report Microsoft's information.

    Note: The message will move to your inbox after doing this.

Moving a message from junk email

  1. Right-click the message you want to move and then click move.


     
  2. Click the folder that you would like to move the message to

    Note: If the message is truly junk, you can add the email address to your blocked sender's list.
