Replying to or forwarding email on behalf of another person in Outlook for Windows

After you have been made a delegate by another user, you can reply to or forward their mail on their behalf.

 Procedure

After you have been made a delegate by another user, you can reply to or forward their mail on their behalf.

  1. Open the other person's inbox.
     
  2. Select the message you want to reply to or forward.
     
  3. On the Home tab, click the Reply , Reply to All or Forward button.



    Note:  If the message does not open in a new window, click the Pop Out button.
     
  4. In the Options tab, click the three dots, then click From.


     
  5. In the From box, type the name of the person you are sending the message on behalf of. 
     
  6. Add recipients, subject, and message, and then click Send.
