Creating email messages on behalf of another person in Outlook for Windows

 Objective

Creating and sending emails from another account if you have been delegated access to do so.

 Audience

 Environment  

  • Outlook for Windows

 Procedure

  1. Select New Email.


     
  2. Under the Options tab, select From.


     
  3. From option should now appear in your e-mail message window, select it and then select Other Email Address... in the menu that appears.


     
  4. Enter the e-mail address of the account you wish to send a message on behalf of, then press OK.


     
  5. Compose the message as you would for a typical e-mail, then press Send.

 Notes

Any messages you send from another account in this manner will include an "on behalf of" message to the recipient, indicating you sent the message on behalf of that account.
