Delegating access to a calendar in Outlook on the web

 Objective

A delegate can see your calendar and, depending on the permission given, can create and respond to meetings on your behalf.

 Audience

 Procedure

  1. Right-click on the calendar you intend to delegate access to.


     
  2. Click on the SHARING AND PERMISSIONS button.


     
  3. In the Share with box, type in the name of the person you want to delegate access to.


     
  4. On the Permissions menu, select Delegate.


     
  5. If you want the delegate to be able to view your private appointments, click the Let delegate view private events checkbox.


     
  6. Click SHARE.
