Customizing the way the Outlook on the web looks and how messages are displayed by applying themes and editing the display settings.

 Procedure

Select a category below for instructions.

There are a number of themes for changing the look and feel.

  1. Click the Settings button.

  2. On the left click General

  4. Pick a Theme of your liking.

    Note: It saves automatically. You can view more themes by clicking the arrow next to Classic.

To change the Display settings:

  1. Click the Settings button.

  2. Click Layout.

  3. Select the desired Display Settings.

To customize the reading pane:

  1. Click the Settings button.

  2. Click Layout.

  3. Scroll down to Reading Pane.

     
  4. Select the desired Reading pane settings.

To select whether to display email by the sender's name or the email subject:

  1. Click the Settings button.

    ""
  2. Click Layout.

  3. Scroll down to Message List Format.


     
  4. Select desired settings.

To change your conversation view:

  1. Click the Settings button.

  2. Click Layout.

  3. Scroll down to Message Organization.

    Select the desired Message Organization
     
  4. In Message Organization, select the desired option.​​​​​​​
