Installing Office 365 Apps for Macs


K-State faculty, staff, and students can download Office 365 Apps for free. Apps can be installed on up to 5 PCs or Macs, five tablets, and five phones.

Installing Office 365 Apps for Macs

Systems using Mac OS


  1. Sign in to K-State webmail.
  2. Click the App Launcher.

    Click App Launcher
  3. Click Office 365.

    Click Office 365
  4. Click Install Office.
  5.  Click Office 365 apps and open the program once it finishes downloading.

    Click Office 365 Apps
  6. Click Continue twice and agree to the terms of the license.
  7. Click Install.

    You may be prompted to enter your eID and password for the computer to allow the installation. 
  8. Click Close.

    Note: If you are prompted to choose either Microsoft Account or Organizational Account, choose Organizational Account.
