Procedure
Open Outlook.
If the Microsoft Outlook Startup wizard appears, click
Sign in
.
Note
: If the Microsoft Outlook Startup wizard doesn't appear, click on the
File
tab in the upper left corner, click on
Office
Account
at the bottom and then click
Sign in
.
Type your Kansas State University email address (
your_eID@ksu.edu
) and click
Next
.
You will then be brought to a K-State sign-in page. Enter your K-State
eID
and
Password
then click
Sign in
.
You will be logged into your Office 365 account.
Note(s):
It may take a few minutes for Outlook to configure the settings. If you see a
Security Alert
alert box click
Yes
to accept the security certificate.
Click
OK
on the Add Email Account window if it pops up. This will restart Outlook.
If you see a
Windows Security
screen enter your full K-State email address (example: willie@ksu.edu) into the
User name
box and your eID password into the
Password
box and click OK.
If it does not automatically find the exchange server, the address needed is:
outlook.office365.com
