Viewing an Advisee Photo Roster in the KSU Advisor Center

 Objective

Advisors using the KSU advisor center can view a photo roster of their advisees by using the steps below:

Notes:

  • View a photo roster is a bulk operation and requires selection of one or more advisees from the advisee list before continuing.
  • The photo roster will be generated of the selected advisees and depending on your web browser appear as a pop-up, additional tab, or a download.
  • You must have the pop-up blocker on your web browser disabled for KSIS in order to use this feature.
  • Refer to How to disable web browser pop-up blockers for assistance.

 Procedure

  1. Log in to KSIS with your K-State eID and password.
  2. Select the KSU Advisor Center tile.
  3. The All Advisees list is displayed.

  4. Select the desired students from the My Advisees list.
  5. Click the Photo Roster button in the bulk operations area at the top of the screen.

  6. The photo roster screen will show the advisees you selected on from the My Advisees list.

  7. Finalize your list of advisees in the photo roster by deselecting or selecting advisees.
  8. Select the Run Photo Roster button to generate a PDF photo roster of the selected advisees. Depending on your web browser this will appear as a popup, additional tab, or a download,
  9. Save or print your photo roster as appropriate.
  10. When finished close the window with the Photo Roster and select Return to Advisees to go back to the advisee list screen.

Notes:

  • Photo's contained in a photo roster are part of the student's educational records and must be stored in a secure location.
  • Shred any copies when no longer needed.
  • Photo's with an asterisk indicate the student has a FERPA hold and additional restrictions apply.
