Adding a designee in KSIS

 Objective

How students can add a designee in KSIS.  Designees can be parents, spouses, or family members and can view and pay bills, as well as view tax information in KSIS.

 Procedure

Adding a Designee

  1. Sign in to KSIS with your eID and password.
  2. Click Student Center.
  3. From the right menu, click Add or Manage Designees.

  4. Click Add Designee.
  5. Enter your Designee's contact information, a four digit PIN, and a PIN hint.
  6. Select the records you want the designee to access.

    Note: Required fields are marked with an *.
     
  7. Read and agree to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) statement and then click Continue.
  8. Review your designee's information for accuracy and click Edit Information to make any corrections.
  9. Click Add Designee.
  10. An email invitation is sent to your designee. The designee must accept the invitation by registering for an eID or submitting their current eID.
  11. You must confirm your designee's account in KSIS before they can access your information.

    Note:
    If the Designee cannot find the invitation email, check the Junk Email and Spam folders.
