Using Outlook to respond to meeting requests

The Outlook desktop app can respond to meeting requests by following these instructions.

  1. Open the email containing the meeting request.
  2. Click AcceptTentative, Decline, or Propose New Time in the top right corner of the email.

  3. Choose either Edit the Response before SendingSend the Response Now, or Do Not Send a Response to respond to the meeting request.

    Note: Clicking Edit the Response before Sending will allow you to write a message to send back with your response.
