- Desktop and mobile device services include:
- Computer deployment and installation, device reimaging, replacement, and relocations.
- Computer support and expertise, desktop/laptop diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair, and warranty repair services for Dell, Lenovo, HP and Apple hardware.
- Division of IT also offers supplemental support for departments that have their own IT staff but require additional assistance. Services provided by client services within the Division of IT are offered under two options:
- Service level agreements (SLA) have been established between Division of Information Technology and some university departments and agencies. Division of Information Technology provide support for desktop computers and some technology resources based on the agreement details.
- Time and materials (non-SLA) charges apply to services provided to non-SLA clients. Departments without an established SLA may request desktop support from Central IT, however you and/or your department will be responsible for any charges incurred. Terms and conditions apply.
Requirements
- Services apply to K-State-owned equipment only.
- In many cases, the requesting department is required to provide installation media/file and license keys.
