Objective

Starting WLAN autoconfiguration on Windows 8 and 10.

Windows 8 and 10

To start the WLAN AutoConfig on a Windows computer, follow the instructions below:

(click to select) Windows8

Push the Windows button on the keyboard.
Type services. msc.
Click Services.
Scroll to the bottom of the Services page.
Double-click WLAN AutoConfig.
In the WLAN AutoConfig Properties (Local Computer) box, change the Startup type to Automatic.
Click on Start, and once the service has started, click Apply.
Click OK.

(click to select) Windows 10 click WLANthe startup

Push the Windows button and R at the same time.
Type services.msc in the window that pops up.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and double-click WLAN AutoConfig.
In the WLAN AutoConfig Properties (Local Computer) window, change the Startup Type to Automatic.
Click on Start, then click on Apply when the service has started.
Click on OK and close the Services window.
