Show how to clear a web browser's cache on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Procedure

NOTE: if the user wants to keep their saved passwords, make sure that Passwords/ saved login data is unchecked. It is HIGHLY recommended as this will clear any active logins saved on the browser.

Chrome (click to view)

On the top-right, click the Customize and control Google Chrome button .
Point to History, click History.
On the left, click Clear browsing data.
Click Advanced.
In the Time range list, select All time.
Select every option.
Click Clear data.
Close every open window of Chrome.

Firefox (click to view)

in the top-right, click History and Bookmarks.
Click History.
Click Clear Recent History.
In the Time range to clear list, select Everything.
Under History, check all boxes.
Click OK.
Close every open window of Firefox.

Safari (click to view)

On the menu bar, click Safari.
Click Preferences.
Click Privacy.
Click Manage Website Data.
Click Remove all.
Click Remove Now.
Close every open window of Safari.

Edge (click to view)

I in the top-right, click Settings and more.
Click Settings.
Click Privacy, search, and services.
Click Choose what to clear.
In Time range, click All time.
Select every option.
Click Clear now.
Close every open window of Edge.
