Show how to clear a web browser's cache on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

 Procedure​​

NOTE: if the user wants to keep their saved passwords, make sure that Passwords/ saved login data is unchecked. It is HIGHLY recommended as this will clear any active logins saved on the browser.

  1. On the menu bar, click Safari.


     
  2. Click Preferences.


     
  3. Click Privacy.


     
  4. Click Manage Website Data.
  5. Click Remove all.
  6. Click Remove Now.
  7. Close every open window of Safari. (Make sure everything is saved in the other windows or tabs.)

  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Privacy, search, and services.

    Select privacy and services

     
  4. Unde Delete Browsing Data section, Click Choose what to clear.
  5. In the pop out window under Time range, click All time.
  6. Select every option Except for Passwords and autofill form data.
  7. Click Clear now.
  8. Close every open window of Edge. (Make sure everything is saved in the other windows or tabs.)
