Wireless Windows-10 MacOS turn-on turn-off

Objective

To turn off and on wireless on your computer, follow the instructions below:

Note: Some devices may have a physical switch to turn on/off wireless.

Procedure

Windows (click to view)

Turning off wireless

In the bottom-right, click the Show hidden icons arrow.
Click Wi-Fi.
Click Disconnect.

Turning on wireless

In the bottom-right, click the Show hidden icons arrow.
Click Wi-Fi.
Click Connect for the desired network.

Mac (click to view)

Turning on/off wireless from the Wi-Fi Icon

Click the Wi-Fi icon.
Click Turn Wi-Fi Off/On.

Turning on/off wireless from System Preferences

Click the Apple icon.
Click System Preferences.
Click Network.
Select the Wi-Fi connection..
Click Turn Wi-Fi Off/On.
