Open the
Start menu
and type "printers" to start a search.
Click on
Printers & scanners
.
Click the printer to set the copied code on.
Click
Manage
.
Click
Printing preferences
.
Note:
You may need to minimize the settings window to see the preferences window.
Click
All Tab
and then click
Basic
to expand the menu.
Click
Authentication/Account Track
.
Enter your copy code into the
Password
box. Leave the
Department Name
box blank.
Click
OK
to close the
User Authentication/Account Track
window.
Click
OK
to close the
Printer Preferences
window.
