Getting Mac OS Updates

 Objective

You can check for and apply Mac OS updates by following the steps below:

 Audience

• Students
• Faculty
• Staff
• Guests

 Environment  

• MacOS

 Procedure

1. Click the Apple Icon, found on the top left on the menu bar.
    
2. Click System Preferences...
   
   
    
3. Click Software Update.
   
   
    
4. If there are any updates, they will be listed with a check box. If you click on an update, a short description will be shown in the section below the list of updates. To download/install an update, check the box next to the update(s) desired.  Then click the Update button.
