How to add a supported third-party app in Canvas.

Apps are an easy was to add new features to Canvas. Apps can be added to individual courses at a department, college, or university level.

  1. Sign in to Canvas with your eID and password.
  2. Select the desired class.
  3. On the navigation menu, click Settings.

  4. Click Navigation.

  5. Under the Drag items here to hide them from students find the desired app.

  6. Drag the app to add upward and drop it in the Drag and drop items to reorder them in the course navigation area.

  7. Click Save.
