Advisors may see different indicators showing that a student has satisfied the K-State Core (General Education) requirement. These indicators appear in KSIS and on the official transcript. Below is what each visual means:
1. K-State Core Satisfied at K-State
When a student completes the K-State Core requirements through K-State coursework, KSIS will display the following milestone:

- Milestone Name: KS Systemwide Gened Comp
- Details: Indicates completion of the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) Systemwide General Education requirements at K-State.
On the transcript, this appears under Non-Course Milestones (last page/end of the transcript):

- Status: Completed
- Date Completed: Shows when the requirement was met.
2. K-State Core Satisfied in Transfer
If a student transfers with an AA/AS degree from a Kansas institution or has a General Education completion statement on their transcript, KSIS will show:

- Milestone Name: KS Systemwide Gened Comp TR
- Details: Indicates the requirement was satisfied through transfer credit.
On the transcript, this appears as: (last page/end of the transcript)

- Program: BA Undergraduate Degree
- KS Systemwide General Education Completed TR
- Status: Completed
Key Points for Advisors
- KS Systemwide Gened Comp = Completed at K-State
