New Teval: Creating a new Teval

Creating a new Teval using the New Teval app in K-State online.

 Procedure

  1. Select Teval in K-State Online.
     
  2. Click Import from Canvas.
     
  3. From the Evaluation List, choose the course for which you would like to create a Teval.
     
  4. Select Create.
     
  5. You are now in the Create Teval tab. Look over the data on this page to make sure it is correct. The Course Number and Class Number data cannot be changed. This information is pulled directly from KSIS. If the information in these two fields is incorrect, contact The Teaching & Learning Center teachingandlearning@ksu.edu
     
  6. Choose Type. This will automatically default to on-campus or distance. If you are teaching a GPIA, you will need to select it.
     
  7. Chose When.
     
  8. Select Start Time and End Time. Type or select. You can add in 9:05 or 9:20. You shouldn't have to.
     
  9. Select Instructor academic rank.
     
  10. Select College.
     
  11. Select Department
     
  12. If your data is missing, click the Update from KSIS link. Contact IT Help Desk at 785-532-7722.
     
  13. The TEVAL Core Questions are displayed. You are unable to change these questions. You can edit the Type, but not the questions themselves.
     
  14. If your department has a TEVAL template, you can select that template in the Template Type drop-down box.
     
  15. If you would like to add Custom Questions, click Add Question. You can add a limit of 10 custom questions.
     
  16. Select Continue.
