Moving email messages out of the Junk folder in Outlook on the web

 Objective

Depending on the protection level that you have set for your Junk Email filter, some email you want to view may be moved to your Junk Email folder. You should periodically review the messages in your Junk Email folder to ensure that you are not missing any messages that should go to your Inbox. If a message is in your Junk Email folder, you can move it to your Inbox using the steps below.

 Audience

  • Students
  • Faculty
  • Staff

 Environment

  • Outlook
  • Webmail

 Procedure

  1. Sign in to K-State Webmail.
  2. In the Navigation Pane, click Junk Email.

  3. Right-click the email to move and click Move.

  4. Select the folder to move the message to.

Note: Moving messages marked as junk from the Junk Folder to the inbox only moves the email. It doesn't add the email address to your safe sender's list. If you would like to add the address to your safe sender's list, see the Managing your safe senders and domains in the Outlook Web App article.
