- On the calendar, click the meeting you want to cancel, but don't open it.
- On the Meeting tab, click Cancel Meeting.
- Click Send Cancellation.
-
Canceling one meeting in a recurring series
- On the calendar, click the meeting you want to cancel, but don't open it.
- On the Meeting Series tab, click Cancel Meeting and then Cancel Occurrence.
- Click Send Cancellation.
-
Canceling all meetings in a series before any meetings have occurred
- On the calendar, click a recurring meeting in the series you want to cancel, but don't open it.
- On the Meeting Series tab, click Cancel Meeting and Cancel Series.
- Click Send Cancellation.
-
Canceling all future meetings in a series
-
Note: It is not recommended to cancel an entire meeting series after any meetings. Doing so will delete all meetings (past and future) and meeting agendas, notes, and attachments that have been saved with the meeting item on the calendar. Updating the meeting series end date is recommended instead. This will cancel the remaining meetings in a series while saving instances of the meeting that have already occurred.
- On the calendar, click a recurring meeting in the series you want to cancel future meetings for, but don't open it.
- On the Meeting Series tab, click Recurrence.
- At the end of the menu, select a date after the last meeting in the series you want to keep, then click OK.
- Click Save changes and send an update.
