Downloading the Canvas Student Mobile App (Android)

 Objective

The Canvas Mobile App is another way students can view Canvas quickly and easily and can be downloaded to an Android device.

 Canvas Mobile App on Android Device

 Procedure

1. On your Android phone, either:
   • Open the Play Store app and search for Canvas Student or
   • Open the browser app and go to the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instructure.candroid&hl=en
      
2. Locate the app, tap Install and Open.
   
   
   
   Note: During installation, a pop-up may appear displaying the Accept option. Tap Accept.
    
3. Tap Find my school. 
   
   
    
4. Search for Kansas State University.
5. Tap Kansas State University.
   
   
    
6. Sign in with your K-State eID and password.
   
   Note: If you are taken to a screen that says Canvas for Android is requesting access to your account, type the requested information and check to Remember my authorization of this service if it is your device. Tap Login.
    
7. Once you log in, the app displays a page with all of your Canvas courses.
