Getting started with Qualtrics resources

Qualtrics is a comprehensive survey tool available to all K-State faculty and staff with more than 90 question types, simplified reporting tools, online training modules, a library of surveys to peruse and so much more. It is also available to graduate and undergraduate students by permission. Learn about Qualtrics with the resources below.

Getting started creating surveys

• Qualtircs surveys at K-State webpage - brief description of Qualtircs features, how to sign in, and Qualtrics services K-State provides.
• Sign In -  kstate.qualtrics.com.
• Qualtrics' Getting Started with Surveys guide.
• Search Qualtrics knowledge base for step-by-step instructions on how to use any of their features.
• K-State knowledge base articles
  • Limits on the number of surveys sent from Qualtrics
  • Qualtrics survey distributions and protected identities of respondents
  • Receiving a Qualtrics collaboration invitation from external institutions
  • Recording Qualtrics survey results in HRIS or KSIS using Shibboleth authentication

  • On the Qualtrics top navigation bar, click the Go to the Basecamp button.
  • Scroll down and click Browse the whole library.
  • Click the Building a Survey Project course or the Building an Advanced Survey course.
  • Click the Register button.
    
    Note: These are free courses, but you have to register.

• Request student approval - a supervisor or advisor must submit this form to get approval for a student to use Qualtrics.
• Get Qualtrics certified - a course on preparing you for the Qualtrics Platform Essentials Certification exam.
