TEVAL Support - Admin features

Information about the admin tools and features in TEVAL.  The TEVAL system is owned by the Provost's office and administered by the Teaching and Learning Center. The application is maintained by Division of IT and development and admin rights are controlled by DevOps team.

Request access to to TEVAL administrative functions

Note: Reserved for TLC and appropriate IT service staff

TEVAL Admin features 

• Find Report: View=PDF doc and Download=CSV report

• Semesters - New Semester Creation:  Offering field is response window 
• Templates – can create new or archive existing.  Needed for question delivery options 
• Import – deprecated tool – used to import manual data  
• Email options 
• Stats and Reporting 
• Batch Management 
• User Account Tool – deprecated tool 

TEVAL Semester management and dates

TEVALs must have dates set for each semester. TLC is responsible for setting up the dates in TEVAL Admin. https://teval.k-state.edu/Teval/jsf/admin/Semesters.jsf

Example date set from TEVAL admin:  

• Spring 2024 term code: 2242    
• Creation:  Dec 28, 2023 - May 10, 2024  
• Offering:  Dec 30, 2023 - May 13, 2024  
• Report:  May 15, 2024 -  (note: report end date is open ended to keep them available)
