Access and Usage
- May be used on both K-State-owned and personal equipment.

Request a license
Request a license using the Request a license form.
Invoice/Payment
- Upon completion of the license request for Microsoft Project, an invoice will be sent to the requesting department.
- Prior to provisioning the license request, payment must be made to Division of Information Technology via interfund voucher (IFV) or KSU Foundation check for faculty, staff, and student licenses.
- Students may lease Microsoft Project with departmental approval and payment directly through their department business office. The Division of Information Technology is unable to accept personal payment for these licenses.
- Within seven days of receipt of payment, Microsoft Project will appear in your Office 365 apps.
Annual Renewal
In early January, the Division of Information Technology will send current Microsoft Project licensees renewal instructions. License privileges are automatically revoked for non-renewed licenses.
Reassigning Named Licenses
Using the Request a license form, paid Microsoft Project named licenses can be reassigned to a different named user through the remainder of the contract year. Select the appropriate Change Named User option in the License Type menu. The classification (student or faculty/staff) of both users must match.
Removing Microsoft Project users
Using the Request a license form, complete the Microsoft Project License Request form by selecting the Remove Named User option in the License Type menu. No refunds are granted for the remainder of the contract year.

- Costs for purchases made during the year are pro-rated through January 31.
