Installing Microsoft Office Apps on Android/Apple Mobile Devices.
Microsoft Office Apps are useful tools to use for school and office work. They can be installed on smartphones by following the instructions below.
Apple Instructions:
To install Microsoft Office on your Apple device:
1. Go to the App Store and search “Office”:
1a. If you're having issues finding the app via the App Store, scan this QR code with your Camera app:
2. Select “Microsoft Office” and press “Get”. Depending on your settings, this may ask for your Apple ID password/Touch ID. Complete this and the app will download:
3. Once the application has downloaded, it will prompt you to allow a few things to properly configure the application. Make sure to allow Office to access your Photos and Files if prompted so you can pull images and videos from your phone to add to your Office files. If you receive a prompt asking whether or not to send optional data to Microsoft, feel free to click Allow:
4. Lastly, Office will ask for an account to sign into. Input your K-State e-mail address (For example: williethewildcat@ksu.edu). Once you input your K-State e-mail, it should lead you to K-State’s Single Sign On page, where you can input your eID and password:
If you’re enrolled in Duo, it will then ask you to authenticate with Two-Factor authentication via a Push, a phone call, or a bypass code.
Now you should be able to view or edit files from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from your Microsoft Office app for your Apple Device.
