Unsubscribing from a LISTSERV mailing list

 Objective

You can delete your own email address from a LISTSERV mailing list by sending a command to the LISTSERV email.

 Procedure

1. Address an email to listserv@listserv.ksu.edu (and to no other email address).
2. In the body of the email, type UNSUB 'listname'
   
   
   
   Example: UNSUB HIST251B
    
3. Send the email.

 Notes

When you unsubscribe from a list, LISTSERV will send a notification message that you've been removed from the list.
