Purchasing a parking permit for students

 Objective

Students can purchase a parking permit by following these steps:

  • Students

 Procedure

  1. Go to www.k-state.edu/parking and click K-STATE ONLINE PARKING PORTAL.

  2. At the top of the page, click Manage Account.

    Note: If this is your first time, scroll down the page and click Get Permits.
     
  3. Click K-State eID Login and log in to the portal with your eID and password.

  4. Click Permits and click Get Permits

  5. Confirm your Housing Location and click Next.
  6. Select the desired permit(s) and check that you agree to the terms and conditions. Click Next.

    Note: If you have selected a daily or visitor pass you also select the date(s) on which they are valid.
     
  7. Select existing vehicles to use the permit or click Add Vehicle to add a new vehicle to the list. Click Next.

    Note: Parking permits are non-transferable. They may only be used with the vehicle(s) for which it is registered.

  8. If you purchase a short term permit, you are required to select a Lot from the drop-down, then click Next to continue.

  9. Review your order and click Next to check out.

    Note: If you are renewing your annual permit, the charge is placed on your KSIS account.  If you are purchasing a short term permit, you will be asked to pay via credit/debit card.
