- University departments and units embarking on a technology project or acquisition are required to submit a project evaluation request to ensure the project or purchase aligns with K-State’s goals and strategies.
- After submitting a request, an IT Analyst will reach out to gather more information and guide the requestor through the review and approval processes. Small efforts require less review and approval, while complex or expensive initiatives may require additional review steps outside of the Division of IT.

Project evaluation requests are dependent on IT resource availability dictated by university priority.
Rates
There is no cost associated with the Project Evaluation Request service. However, costs associated with IT Projects include any expense incurred to purchase hardware, software or consulting services to complete a project, and may be subject to additional Service Level Agreements.
