Advisors using the original advisor center can run and view a DARS audit for a non-advisee by following these steps:

Before running a DARS audit, disable all pop up blockers.  For more information on how to disable pop up blockers, click HERE.

 Procedure

  1. Sign into KSIS at ksis.ksu.edu with your eID and password.
     
  2. Click the Classic Home tile.


     
  3. Under KSIS Links, click Advisor Center.


     
  4. On the bottom left of the page, below your advisees, click View data for other students.
     
  5. Enter the student's KSIS ID, Campus ID (WID), or name and click Search.
     
  6. Click Degree Audit (dars).


     
  7. Select the desired plan for the student and click Submit Report.

    Note: To check which classes are necessary for a different major, run a What-If DARS audit.
     
  8. Click OK on the pop up message.
     
  9. Click Refresh until Status says COMPLETED, then click View Audit


     
  10. The audit should appear in a frame in the center of the page. 
     
  11. Maximize the window to view the audit in a full screen.

 Notes

System generated audits are available for all currently enrolled students and should never be more than one week old. System generated audits will have 'System' in the 'Run By' field of the audit results.
