To create a wireless profile for a Macintosh computer, you need to be in the Network Preferences window.

 Procedure

Access Network Preferences:

Airport Icon:

  1. Right-click the Airport icon .
     
  2. Select Open Network Preferences.

          

System Preferences:

  1. Click the Apple icon .
     
  2. Select System Preferences.


     
  3. Click Network. 


     

Manually create a preferred network:

  1. Select Wi-Fi on the left.


     
  2. Click Advanced in the lower right.
     

     
  3. On the Wi-Fi tab, click the + icon. 


     
  4. In Network Name, enter KSU Wireless
     


     
  5. For Security, select WPA2 Enterprise.
     



    Note: If Mode is required, select Automatic.
     
  6. Enter your eID and password.
     


     
  7. Click OK.
     

     
  8. Click OK.
     


     
  9. Click Apply.
