The limit for the number of surveys sent via a Qualtrics account is 25,000 surveys (includes the email, the reminders and the thank yous) in any 7 day rolling period. There is no explicit daily limit to the number of surveys sent per day, but if you send 25,000 emails in one day, you wouldn't be able to send another survey for 7 days. The rolling period refers to the number of surveys sent over the last 7 days.
Requests to Qualtrics for distributions of larger than 25,000 surveys are made through the IT Service Desk. Contact 785-532-7722 or submit a ticket via support.ksu.edu
Audience
Details
When making the request, please provide the following:
- Name of survey and survey URL
- User ID/eID for the owner of the survey
- The limit requested (how much does the limit need to be increased)
- Description of the project/survey
- A general description of who is being surveyed (student body, faculty, entire campus, purchased list of emails, etc.)
- The length of time the increased limit needs to be in place (one time, multiple times per year, date range, etc.)
