Removing a navigation item from Canvas course settings

How to remove navigation items  from a Canvas course.

 Procedure

1. Sign into Canvas with your eID and password.
2. Click your course
3. On the left menu, click Settings
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Navigation tab
   
   
   
   
5. Under Drag and drop items to reorder them in the course navigation are the available Navigation items.
   
   
   
   
6. Drag the item to remove downward and place it in Drag items here to hide them from students.
   
   
    
7. Click Save.
   
   Note: If you do NOT click Save, the changes do not apply to the Course.
