Instructions to clear cache and cookies from Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. Common fix to access issues.

Procedure
CollegeSource (vendor) recommends using an alternative browser (not your primary) that is setup to clear all cache and cookies upon closing the browser.
DARS/uAchieve is a cache heavy system. Most access issues can be resolved by clearing cache and cookies. The following will illustrate temporary and permanent steps to handle cache and cookies associated with uAchieve.com. Click your web browser to jump to that section; Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari.
Note: There is no way to automatically clear cache and cookies when exiting. They must be manually cleared.
- Select the Customize and Control menu (ellipsis icon) or copy and paste chrome://settings/content/all into the web address bar.

- Select Settings.

- From the left hand menu, select Privacy and Security.

- Select Site Settings.

- Select View permissions and data stored across sites under Recent Activity.

- Arrive at the All Sites control page.

- Scroll through the list of sites until you reach uachieve.com or use the search tool in the upper right corner to narrow results. Click the trashcan icon to delete all cookies and cache.

- Click Delete. Close all windows in your web browser session and start a new browser session to access DARS again.

Note: Edge is capable of clearing all cache and cookies when the the browser is closed (
optional). You can also clear them
manually.
- Select the Customize and Control menu (ellipsis icon) or copy and paste edge://settings/privacy/cookies into the web address bar.

- From the list of options towards the bottom, select Settings.

- From the left hand navigation menu, select Privacy, search, and services.

- Select Cookies.

- Select See all cookies and site data.

- Scroll through the websites until you reach uachieve.com or use the search tool to narrow results. Click the drop down to expand your view of the website cookies and cache.

- Delete all cookies and cache by selecting both trashcan icons. This will cause the website to disappear from the page. Close all windows in your web browser session and start a new browser session to access DARS again.

- Follow step one above to get to the cookie settings page. Towards the bottom, you'll notice Customized cookies behavior. Select Add site.

- Add uachieve.com to the field, then click Add.

- Each time you close Edge, it will clear all cookies and cache associated with uachieve.com.

Note: Firefox is capable of clearing all cache and cookies when the the browser is closed (
optional). You can also clear them
manually.
- Select the application menu or copy and paste about:preferences#privacy into the web address bar.

- Select settings.

- From the left hand menu, select Privacy & Security.

- Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data. Select Manage browsing data.

- Scroll through the data or use the search bar to narrow results to uachieve.com. Close all windows in your web browser session and start a new browser session to access DARS again.

- Follow step one above to get to the cookie settings page. Scroll to Cookies and Site Data. Select the Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed check box and then Manage Exceptions.

- In the address bar, add uachieve.com. Click Allow for Session.

- Confirm the website, then select Save Changes.

Note: There is no way to automatically clear cache and cookies when exiting. They must be manually cleared.
- Open Safari and click Safari.

- From the menu options, select Settings.

- Select Privacy and then select Manage Website Data...

- Use the search finder to narrow your results to uachieve.com. Then select uachieve.com then select Remove.

- Once removed, cache and coolies will be removed from the list. Click Done. Close all windows in your web browser session and start a new browser session to access DARS again.

Notes
- Using private or incognito windows by default clear cache and cookies when closing the web browser.
- If issues persist, reach out to your Dean's Office to let them know you are struggling. The team will either help resolve your issue or the staff will contact the Registrar's Office for administrative assistance.
