Why won't my File Upload Assignment finish submitting in Canvas?

 Procedure

Students may experience a problem when submitting a file upload assignment with certain browser plugins installed. In this case, the Submit button changes to read "Submitting" and the process never completes to show the file as submitted for the assignment. The plugins identified so far have been LastPass, Boomerang, and uBlock.

To fix this problem, first refresh your browser page and take one of the steps below:

1. Disable the plug-in in the browser.
2. Use an incognito/private window (assumes plug-ins are not enabled in incognito mode).
3. Use a different browser that doesn't have the plug-in installed.
