Hiding and posting grades for a Canvas assignment

To hide or post certain assignment grades for a Canvas course.

Hiding grades

On the left side of the course navigation, click Grades to open the course grade book.
Mouse over the desired assignment and click the three dots that appear.
Click Hide grades.
Click Hide.
Note: If you only want to hide the grades for a particular class section, click the button next to Specific Sections and select the desired sections before clicking Hide.

Posting grades three class sections

On the left side course navigation, click Grades to open the course grade book.
Mouse over the desired assignment and click the 3 dots that appear.
Click Post grades.
Click Post.
Note: To only post the grades for the assignments that have been graded, you can click Graded before clicking Post.
Note: To only post the grades for certain sections of the class, click the button next to Specific Sections and select the desired sections before clicking Post.
