Canvas has added an Assign To button to manage access for Assignments, Quizzes and graded Discussion. You can now assign Pages and Ungraded Discussion to individual students or sections as well.

Details
Student access can now be managed through a slide out tray on the right side when you click the Assign To button.
The "Assign To" tray will slide in from the right and include all the same functionality as before, after making the appropriate changes please make sure to click the Apply/Save button on the bottom right to apply the changes.
The area at the bottom to manage access while editing Assignment/Quiz/Discussion/Page remain largely the same.
