 Procedure

  1. Open the Settings app on your Windows 11 device by pressing the Windows key and selecting the gear icon. The Settings app is your control center for most configurations on your Windows 11 device. You can also press Windows + I to open the Settings directly.

  2. Go to Accounts:

  3. Select Access Work or School:

  4. Locate the KSU account, click on it, and then select Disconnect. This will open a confirmation dialog asking whether you’re sure you want to remove this account.

Note: Make sure to double-check you’re selecting the correct account.

  5. In the confirmation dialog, click Yes to remove the work account. Once you confirm, Windows will start the process to disconnect the work account from your device. This might take a few moments. After completing these steps, your Windows 11 device will no longer be linked to the work account you removed. All the data associated with that work account will be deleted from your computer.

  6. After the KSU account has been disconnected, try signing back into Teams or Outlook with your eID and password. Accept your Duo MFA and wait for the next prompt.

  7. Uncheck “Allow my organization to manage my device” before clicking next.

  8. Click Next and that should fix the issue.
