Procedure
The folder list will show the default folders created for all mailboxes, plus any folder that you create. By default, messages that are sent to you are stored in your Inbox.
Click the process below to view the instructions:
- Right-click the folder you want to create a new folder under and then click Create new subfolder.
Note: To create a new folder at the same level as your Inbox, click the New folder button at the bottom of the folder list.
- Type a name for the new folder and press the Enter.
Note: You may need to refresh your browser to view new folders.
Right-click the folder you want to delete and then click Delete.
Note: Deleted folders are moved to the Deleted Items folder and are not permanently removed until you empty it or manually delete them from the Deleted Items folder.
- Right-click the folder you want to rename and then click Rename.
- Type the new folder name and then press the Enter key.
Note: Some folders such as the Inbox can't be renamed. If the folder can't be renamed, the rename option in the menu will appear dimmed.
This only allows you to move folders into other folders, not sort the order. Folders will automatically be sorted alphabetically on refresh or the next time you sign-in.
Do one of the following:
- Click and drag the folder to the desired location.
- Right-click a folder and then click Move,
- Click the folder you want to move it to and then click Move.
