KSIS: View and Print Class Roster

Faculty can view and print class rosters on KSIS.

  • Faculty

  • KSIS

The KSIS class roster provides information about students (name, WID, major(s), grade level, and photo) who have enrolled, waitlisted, or dropped a class.  Follow the instructions below to view and print your class roster with or without student photos.

Note: Information in the class roster is considered part of the student's educational records.  If saved or printed, the class roster must be stored in a secure location.  An asterisk (*) next to the student's name indicates they have a FERPA hold and additional restrictions apply.  Destroy or shred copies when no longer needed.

Class Roster without Photos

  1. Sign in to KSIS with your eID and password.
  2. From the KSIS Faculty Homepage, click Faculty Center.

  3. Click the Class Roster icon to the left of the class you want to view.

Note: This symbol displays only after students have enrolled in the section.

  4. The list of students is displayed as shown below.

  5. From the Enrollment Status drop-down, you can select to view students with a specific status, such as All, Dropped, or Wait listed.

Note:  Wait listed status will only appear if there are students on the wait list for your class.

  6. To print the text-only version of the class roster, click Printer Friendly Version at the bottom of the page.
  7. Then click Print.
  8. Verify the print options for your browser and click Print again to finish the printing process.

Class Roster with Photos

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above.
  2. There are several options to view student photos.  In Select display option, select either Link to Photos or Include photos in the list.

    • Link to Photos provides a link to the roster with student photos as shown in step 3 above.  To view a student photo, click the photo icon.

    • Include photos in list displays the student list with the photo on the left.  By default, only one student is displayed so the page will load quickly and be less cluttered.  Click the right arrow to advance one student at a time.

To view all student photos on the same page, click the View All option.

  3. Click the Photo Roster link to generate a photo roster with 20 student photos, names, and WIDs per page in PDF format.

Note: You may need to enable pop-ups on your browser before the page will display.  See Disabling Web Browser Pop-up Blockers for details.

  4. Once the Photo Roster is displayed, use your web browser's functionality to print or save the photo roster.

Note: Information found in the photo roster is NOT covered by FERPA.  This page can be used or displayed in your office as it contains only the picture, name of the student and their WID.
