At Kansas State University, you often need to connect to data or resources on the K-State campus while you are at home or traveling. The use of the GlobalProtect VPN allows you to connect securely, so data remains safe in transit between your computer and the VPN firewall.

Downloading and installing the Global Protect app

Your device must be running Android v5.0 or later.

  1. From the Google Play store, find and download the GlobalProtect app. Make sure the app you download has Palo Alto Networks listed at the developer.

  2. In the Address box, type  gpvpn.ksu.edu and tap Connect.

Connecting to the GlobalProtect VPN app

  1. Open GlobalProtect app, and tap Connect.

Note: Enter only your eID as your Username. Do not enter your email address.
